Over 100 small breed dogs recently rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri will be available for adoption beginning at 10 am Friday, September 10.

Breeds include Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, Pekingese, Beagles, Shih Tzus, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and mixes of those breeds.

Someone emailed me a link to this “Science Based Dog Training (with Feeling)” video yesterday. (Thank you!) This guy (is it disrespectful for me to call him that?) is amazing. He has so many things going for him. I like his logical and respectful approach to dog training, not to mention his sexy accent. California recently added information about dogs left in cars to its 2011 drivers’ handbook, and members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals want New Mexico [and Nevada] to do the same.
